About

why steel straws?

Studies have shown that reusables will almost always trump over disposables, simply because it creates a circular economy and what- ever carbon footprint was emitted is distributed over the many times that you used it! On the short-term, It means that it would be one less plastic straw that could potentially end up in the belly of a precious sea creature, and potentially cause it’s death. On top of this, you will help forward the movement for a society that refuses single-use! Exciting, right?!

why not ditch straws altogether?

People have told us that it is still wasteful to produce metal straws, and we should just ditch them altogether. It’s great if you can ditch them completely, but we recognize that some people are not yet quite ready to do so and indeed, there are multiple cases that you would still need one (Milk Tea Pearls, Geriatrics, Drive-thrus). We also need to put a face to the culture against single-use plastic usage. And finally we feel that this can be one small step you can do to start that zero-waste lifestyle, and eventually create bigger steps to do more. In an ideal world, we wouldn’t need the straw, plastic or metal, as we’d find other more sustainable ways to do so, in hopes of fulfilling our vision!

what is your steel straw made of?

Straws are made of 18/8 Food Grade Stainless Steel. Lifespan: A lifetime, or more.

what is your utensil made of?

utensils are made of sustainably made of bamboo and coated to be food-grade. Lifespan: 3-5 years, but can last longer with proper care.

how do i take care of my straws?

  2. Wash with dishwashing liquid and allow to dry before storage.
  3. Keep away from damp environments.

  3. Keep away from damp environments.
  4. An additional step for the bamboo utensils is to oil them least once every 6 months to ensure longevity. Oil is like the wood’s moisturizer that prevents warps or cracks. The oil you’ll use should be food grade and not prone to rancidity. Mineral oil is an inexpensive option that you can easily find in most kitchen supply stores, so it’s the safest choice!

Shipping

what courier service do you use?

For deliveries within Luzon and Metro Manila, we use Quicktime Courier Express or BlitzDeliveryPH. For provincial areas in Visayas and Mindanao, we use 2GO delivery.

how much is the shipping fee?

For small sized package, the price ranges from 80 - 165 pesos. For medium sized packages, the price ranges from 90 - 190 pesos. For large sized deliveries, the price ranges from 110 270 pesos. The final delivery value will be assessed upon checkout.

how do i track my orders?

You may track your orders using the tracking number given to your mail.

i have not received my orders until now. who should i contact regarding updates?

Sip uses a third party courier service but we're more than willing to assist you! Just send us an e-mail regarding your concern through hi@sip,ph and we'll put forward your concern to the designated courier service.

do you do same-day delivery?

Yes, we do but only within Metro Manila. Just choose the "Lalamove Same Day Delivery" option upon checkout.

do you allow store pick-ups?

Yes, we do! Our official store partner is Loop. located at Unit 30, 68 Don A Roces Avenue. Just choose the "Same-Day Store Pick-Up" option upon checkout.

do you allow specific time request for delivery?

As much as we'd like to cater these requests, our third party couriers can't. For efficiency purposes, all of their routes are pre-planned for the day so they wouldn't be able to cater additional handling requests.

there was a failure in the delivery of my order. what do i do?

Don't worry! We actually get notified by our courier service provider so we will also notify you on our end when these things happen. For their part, they will automatically be sending out your item the next day. But after two attempts and the order still has not been received due to customer's unavailability, it will be returned to us and we will have to reprocess your order again.

where's your store located?

Our official partner store is called Loop. It's located at Unit 30, 68 Don A Roces Avenue, Quezon City. You may search SIP PH or Loop. on Google Maps or Waze. We are beside Amoranto Sports Complex and along the main road. We are open from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM from Tuesday to Sunday, excluding holidays

what are sps tagged products?
